Guest dogs are a part of our family during their visit. They stay in our home and are treated as if they are our own.
Using positive, reward-based training and behavior modification, we work toward your goals. When your dog loves their training, learning is faster and easier! In addition to lessons that are curated for your dog, interactions through the daily routine are leveraged for creating desirable habits.
I am deliberate in providing a fulfilling balance of individually-appropriate exercise, mental enrichment, and calm relaxation to ensure a low-stress and fun stay for your dog. With their needs met, the body and mind is better prepared for learning.

Training throughout the day in real-life situations.
Daily text updates with photos or video so you can follow their learning journey.
A detailed Learning Summary of everything your dog worked on during their stay.
90-minute transfer training session at the end of their stay to bring you up to speed on what they’ve learned and how to implement their new skills at home.
After they’ve been home for 1-2 weeks, a 60-minute remote session to troubleshoot and make any necessary adjustments.
Periodic phone check-ins for 3 months following their stay to continue progress and ensure ongoing success.
Shorter stays are available. Follow up sessions and check-ins listed above will be adjusted for shorter stays.
Successful long term behavior change will require ongoing efforts once your dog is home. Your included training sessions and follow-up calls will help you continue their progress.

A completed intake form/contract
A copy of current vaccination records including distemper, parvo, rabies, canine influenza, and Bordetella

Enough food to last the entire stay. Any leftover will be returned to you.
Required medications (there is no extra charge for administering oral meds).
A leash, collar with a tag, and a harness if you use one.
We have lots of dog supplies, but you are welcome to bring a favorite toy, treats, chews, or anything that you think will make your dog more comfortable.
